Office Visit FAQs

  • Yes they are.

Since this is a shared office location with another practitioner, please do not show up unannounced.

Even during regular hours, the dietitian is not always in-office, and may be on a home visit to accommodate a patient.

  • Yes! There is parking available on the South and East Sides of the building, with building access directly from the parking lot.

  • Currently my regular days are on Tuesdays (1st, 2nd, and 4th Tuesday of every month). And the 3rd Thursday of every month. My most up to date availability is on my booking calendar, which is scheduled up to a month out. If you need appointments sooner, telehealth is always an option 5 days/wk.

  • Yes! It is around the hallway from my office and open to all guests of the building.

  • Front doors: Can accommodate a wheelchair, but there is no button to automate them to open. There are no stairs leading up to the door.

Office door: Technically NOT handicap accessible, however we have had multiple traditional wheelchairs able to fit without issue.

  • Absolutely! This is a frequent request. My office seating can accommodate 5 adults during each session (not including practitioner). One couch (3 people) & Two Armchairs.

  • As a fellow mom, I love seeing the little ones! But, do ask that younger children stay home as the office isn’t technically “baby-proof”, with lots of cords, cables, and potential hazards for little hands/mouths. Plus, I really need you to be focused during our session(s).

Virtual (Telehealth)

Driving (and traffic) is overrated. Enjoy the freedom & convenience of having your sessions from home! Please don’t let the unfamiliar territory of technology discourage you.

Just take the first step to book your session and we’ll help you through the rest.

Telehealth FAQs

  • Upon booking your appointment, you will receive a link to our telehealth video session. If you are not familiar with this type of technology (or it just frustrates you) please notify dietitian prior to appointment.

This is considered a video-call. If you are on a desktop computer, make sure you have a working microphone and speakers prior to the appointment (many laptops/tablets have this feature built in). You can also access our call through your smartphone.

  • I have availability 5 days/wk for telehealth appointments; from other states too! For most updated hours, go to my booking page. It is kept updated up to 30 days out.

  • If you are self-pay, yes, you can just call me. But, if we are planning to bill your insurance, a video-call is required per their regulations.

If we are unable to get the computer thing figured out the first 15 of your session, we can reschedule for another time.

Home Visit

Do you have difficulty getting up and about? Hate the thought of Driving to yet another appointment? Have you had a recent hospitalization that has left you in worse shape than when you got there? This option is for you. Everyone deserves access to the care they need, and yes, this includes nutrition as well.

Home Visit FAQs

  • Yes I do! I get a lot of requests for these appointments for those that are unable to drive, or having a difficult time getting around. These appointments are truly for those that need them, not for those that simply didn’t plan out their day correctly.

Please be prepared to wait up to 2 weeks (unless told otherwise). Make sure you specify location when you book your appointment. I always verify prior to driving anywhere just in case!

  • If you prefer to meet at a local café, library, or otherwise, please specify when booking.

Please understand that I am unable to maintain HIPAA compliance with our appointment in a public space. If this is still an option you would prefer, you will be required to sign a consent form at our appointment.

  • Coeur d’Alene, Hayden, Post Falls, and Rathdrum. I may consider locations further away on a case-by-case basis, and upon availability.

  • Keep in mind, you are paying for my expertise, but also my time. If there are distractions like pets, kiddos/grandkids (which I love), please consider how this factors into our session. I want you to get your full value and have time to get all of your questions answered to your satisfaction.

  • If you live in a rural area with questionable terrain or limited accessibility during inclement weather, give me a heads up after booking. Luckily I have the option of using a 4-wheel drive vehicle more capable than I am (per the husband). So it should not be problem most of the year.

  • If possible, please no heavily scented candles/ air fresheners/ perfumes during our session. Your dietitian is blessed with year round allergies and will spend your whole session sneezing from the traditional scented things out there. Yes that includes eucalyptus, mint, cinnamon, etc. THANK YOU!

  • Do expect I usually remove my shoes in everyone’s home so I don’t bring the outside, inside. I also bring a laptop that will require an electrical outlet.

  • Absolutely not!

I am providing a service for our community that is needed, and that is enough for me.

  • As someone that has dealt with anxiety/panic attacks in the past, the last thing I want is for someone to nervously book one of these sessions, fearful of having a stranger in their home. I get it!

Please, first book a free discovery call. Get to know me a little, learn my voice and get familiar with my slightly dorky personality. It helps most.

Still unsure which option is best? Book a free discovery call!
